Following Iran’s attack on Israel, former President Trump shared a heated message to attendees at his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, vowing that this should not have happened.
“Before I continue, I want to say God bless the people of Israel. They are under attack right now. That’s because we showed great weakness,” Trump said as he began his speech. “The weakness we have shown is incredible, and it would not have happened if we were in office. You know it. They know it and everyone knows it.”
Trump went on to say that the United States is praying for Israel and is sending absolute support to all those in danger.
“This is an attack that would not have happened. I mean, think about what you have to go through,” he said. “Ukraine would never have happened. Israel [being] “They attacked so much on October 7 that would never have happened today.”

Trump joined other Republican politicians in expressing concerns about the Biden administration and the attacks.
“As Israel faces this ferocious attack from Iran, the United States must show our full resolve to support our critical ally. The world must be assured: Israel is not alone,” House Speaker Mike Johnson wrote in X . “I will continue to interact with “The White House insists on an appropriate response. “The Biden Administration’s weakening of Israel and appeasement of Iran have contributed to these terrible events.”
Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., said President Biden must “stand firm” with Israel.
“Iran’s drone strikes show us that President Biden’s approach to Iran and the Middle East is backwards,” he wrote in an X post. “Now that we are at risk of entering World War III, the United States must respect Israel’s commitment to democracy. The president must stand firm and stop coddling Iran immediately.”

Biden was asked on Friday how imminent a possible attack on Israel from Tehran is following an Israeli attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus in Syria.
“We are dedicated to the defense of Israel,” he added. “We will support Israel. We will defend, we will help defend Israel and Iran will not succeed.”

Asked what his message to Tehran was, Biden simply said: “Don’t do it.” When asked for more details, he walked away.
