“Issue number two is this border crisis,” Brown said. “Vice President Harris was the border czar, she allowed this crisis to happen, and Senator Rosen sits on the Homeland Security Committee. She should provide accountability. She should provide leadership and response against an administration that has allowed, we now know, more than 400,000 convicted criminals in this country, and she has done nothing, in fact, she only visited the border once and that is unacceptable for someone who comes out of the military and represents their concerns and fulfills the mission.”
Brown, a war veteran who suffered serious injuries from an improvised explosive device explosion during a deployment to Afghanistan in 2008, is running against the Democratic incumbent. Sen. Jacky Rosen in a race that could play a key role in deciding which party controls the Senate. The Cook Political Report classifies the race as “lean Democratic.”

Kennedy told Fox News Digital that he felt it was important to travel to Nevada and support Brown because the combat veteran is a “rock star.”
“It’s a beast. It’s what looks great. We need it in the United States Senate,” Kennedy said. “The people of Nevada need it and deserve it. The people of Nevada deserve the right to go to the grocery store without first having to sell blood plasma to pay for it, and Sam will help us fix that.”

Brown told Fox News Digital that the on-the-ground energy he’s seen during his campaign has been “fantastic.”
“This is a battleground state in the presidential race, a battleground state for the Senate,” Brown said. “When we win this race, we will get the majority. When President Trump wins, he will be in the White House. People are excited because they need change. They are desperate for change and Jacky Rosen, as a senator, she has been running from people while I run for them.”
Kennedy told Fox News Digital that he believes the presidential race between Harris and Trump will be “close” in Nevada, but that he is confident Brown will be a “great senator.”
“I mean, the guy is a war hero, a West Point graduate, an SMU business school graduate, he’s been a businessman, he’s a good father, he’s a good husband, he’s smart,” Kennedy said. “You stand between Sam Brown and what’s best for Nevada. He’ll eat you up like a light snack, man.”
