Rap music fans, you better get ready for get crazy this summer because Missy Elliott announced her first headlining tour on Monday, and she’s taking Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Timbaland with her.
On the 24-city tour, Elliott, 52, and his collaborators will travel to Canadian stadiums, in Vancouver, BC, on July 4, Montreal, Quebec, on August 17, and Toronto, Ontario, on August 19 .
Elliott announced the tour, called Out of This World: The Missy Elliott Experiencethrough an intergalactic-themed video published on social networks.
“There won’t be a tour like this,” Elliott exaggerates in the teaser video.
Until now, Elliott had never headlined his own tour, despite his prolific music career that began in the 1990s.

“This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing many major ‘firsts,'” Elliot said in a press release. “Being the FIRST female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and now participating in my FIRST headlining tour. Fans have been asking me to tour forever, but I wanted to wait until it felt like the right time because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big and I had to do it with my family!
She continued: “So get ready to be taken OUT OF THIS WORLD with me, Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Timbaland! We can’t wait to share this experience with fans!
Vancouver’s Rogers Arena will be the first stop on the tour, which will end next month in Rosemont, Illinois.
Elliott is one of the most notable women in rap music, with hits including To lose control and work it.
In 2019, she became the first female rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards. Later in 2021, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Elliott was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year.
Elliott and Busta Rhymes have been frequent collaborators throughout his career, including on his debut album. supa dupa fly.

Rhymes told the Associated Press that all the artists involved “are in the best spaces of our lives, individually and collectively.”
“We are no longer Daniel-san. Now we are all Mr. Miyagi senseis,” he said. “We are all at our levels of perfection of what we have been doing and building together as a collective family for 30 years.”

Ciara is also a well-known singer and songwriter, with several chart-topping songs including Oh and candies.
